Journalism is the presentation of reporting on events, facts, and ideas. People receive reliable news. "A practical and functional form of truth that is journalism".  The fourth pillar of the state is the media. Journalists are those who find and report on news.  A journalist's primary responsibility is to report on current events. Humans differ from other animals.  We all have a basic need.  The requirement for information.

  A competent journalists should be eager to learn as much as they can about the world around them.  There are two kinds of Journalism.  Print and electronic media. Print media includes magazines and newspapers. Electronic media such as television, radio, and the internet.  Print media reporters, editors, and correspondents are examples of job profiles. 

The print medium first appeared in 1780. In 1972, radio transmission began. James Agustus Hicky is considered the father of Indian journalism. The Bengal Gazette, India's first newspaper, was published on January 20, 1780. The fundamental ideals of journalism are to enlighten and educate, to convey the truth, to be a voice for the voiceless, to entertain, to inspire, and to act as a watchdog.

TYPE OF JOURNALISM

Four distinct categories exist in journalism. Investigative reporting, news reporting, feature reporting, feature reporting, and opinion reporting You can express your opinions in the opinion journal. In news reporting, breaking news describes an incident that took place. Feature stories make for engaging reading. Investigative journalism uncovers information that few people are aware of. Journalism offers both fun and information. Additionally, it offers ideological and moral direction.

THE VALUE OF JOURNALISM

 People use media to obtain the information they require in the fields of politics, international affairs, science and technology, emergency response, disaster management, and other state and non-state issues. Journalism plays a huge variety of roles in society. The role of a watchdog in society is fundamental. Another task under the "Social Responsibility Theory" is to present accurate and timely news.

INFLUENCE OF JOURNALISM

In society, journalism has a variety of effects. Some people have positive opinions about it, while others don't. reporting the truth about any topic, including current affairs and private matters, and branding media outlets as "yellow papers" when their stances run counter to the truth. Communication between the government and the public occurs through the media. Politicians decide and act on behalf of the general populace.




HISTORY OF JOURNALISM

 MALAYALAM JOURNALISAM

 

A Malayalam modern periodical was released in June 1847. Herman Gundart Rajyasamacharam edited the first Malayalam newspaper, which was printed in Tellichery. Between October and June between 1847 and 1857, Pashchimodayam, the second magazine, was published. In earlier newspapers, there were articles about Christian missionaries. Jananikshepam was the title of the first Malayalam magazine. CMS College is published in Jananiksepam.

The Jananiskhepam had a listing for Vidhyasamgraham. This academic publishing is a division of CMS College. The name of the first Malayalam publication is Njananikshpam. Nasrani Deepika then started in 1887. An old Malayalam newspaper was being read. It continues to be popular. Malyalamanorama then started. All around us, information and news are constantly collected, arranged, and assessed. After this information is communicated to the audience, The word journalist is derived from the French word "journal." Have two types of journals. Print media, such as newspapers, magazines, and newsletters, Television,online journals, web journals, blogs, vlogs, and YouTube channels are visual media. Radio, HamRadio is a broadcasting journal.

 

In June 1847, Malayalam modern journalPublish. The first news paper in Malayalam was edited by Herman Gundart Rajyasamacharam and published in Tellichery. The second magazin pashchimodayam was published between 1847 and 1857, between October and June. Christian missionaries wer e published in early newspapers.

The first magazine published in Malayalam was called Jananikshepam. Published in Jananiksepam is CMS College.
Vidhyasamgraham was listed in the Jananiskhepam. This educational publishing is a part of the CMS college. The first magazine in Malayalam is called Njananikshpam. After that, Nasrani Deepika began in 1887. It was an outdated Malayalam newspaper. It remains well-liked. Then Malyalamanorama began. Starting in CMS Assistant Munshi Kandthil Vargees Mappila, a prominent daily newspaper.

His lifelong ambition to work as a Malayalam dramaist began in Kottayam in March 1890. From Kottayam, the Manorama company published.  This newspaper, which goes by the name Morning News Paper, is in Malayalam.  Mamen Mathew's leadership up to this point.

  On March 22, 1888, it was originally published as a weekly,  The first manorama newspaper published on  22 march 1890 from Orthadox Theological Seminary Kottayam Second-hand news publication.  Malyalamnorama only features Kerala.

Varghees Mappila is an editor of Malayala Manorma. The news paper logo approved the Maharaja of Travancore, Moolam Thirunal. It is a four-page weekly newspaper. In 1904, Mamen Mappila was dead. Then hand over the news paper malayala  manorma to his soninlow,

Manorama, a newspaper founded in Kottayam and run by a press cast, debuted in Malabar, Kozhikode, in 1996.
